At first Yosemite would not install because it was not from an "identified developer." When I went to the suggested Security Pane in System Preferences, it showed the failed attempt to open the driver and a window saying "Install anyway." Clicked on that, and it opened without a hitch and installed completely. And on the first try! I bypassed the newer drivers and went straight to the older WacomTablet_6.2.0w4 driver. Coming here first helped me successfully install my old Intuos 4 x 5 tablet on my new (refurbished) Macbook Pro, running Yosemite 10.10.5.
